Residents can walk to the beach, the weekly farmers market, award-winning restaurants, boutique retail, and the historic Del Mar Plaza — all within a compact and beautifully maintained downtown core. The broader Del Mar Heights and Carmel Valley adjacent areas are more car-dependent, but the village itself offers a level of pedestrian accessibility that is exceedingly rare in San Diego.

Del Mar's market is characterized by low inventory and high buyer demand, which historically produces competitive offer situations for well-positioned properties. Days on market tend to be low for homes priced correctly, and the area consistently sees strong sold-to-list-price ratios.
